When Jennifer was about five or six, she used to play with her not so friendly friend Celestial. But this girl's name was simply the opposite of what she really was: argumentative and always ready to find something wrong in the playing process.
So, one day Jen and Celestial are playing in our driveway and, when a guy with a dog passes on the sidewalk in front of the driveway, Jennifer, very politely, as always, says "Hi". The guy responds with a mutual, nice "Hi" and continues walking the dog. Celestial, of course, makes a remark: "Why did you say hi, you don't know him", and Jennifer, with the quick wit that is so much part of her personality, responds: " I know the dog!"
